God goes with me wherever I go

1. Yes, when I walk through the dale of death
with heavy thoughts and with deep regrets,
my fear drawn near as my faith has fled,
and all I see is dis-ease and dread.
The separation is all I know
as if old Adam does not let go.
The voice of madness is what I hear,
the Voice for God all but disappear.
But God goes with me wherever I go,
there is no byway that He wouldn't know,
there is no Blessing He couldn't bestow.
This is His Path and it leads to Peace.

2. A source of water so soft and clear,
whispers its wisdom into my ear:
"Why would you thirst for what I supply,
when Life's own Source you personify?
The Crown of Life is for you to wear,
the Kingdom is there for you to share!
Do not look far for that guiding star
it's always been in Your Heav'n within.
"Yes, God goes with me wherever I go,
there is no byway that He wouldn't know,
There is no Blessing He couldn't bestow.
This is His Path and it leads to Peace.

3. In that pure place is a feast prepared,
a wedding set and a peace declared.
I am united in bliss benign
with my soul's bridegroom, with Love Divine.
And to that warm and appealing light
that radiates from my house at night
I will return from my lonelyness
to our new Home and our Holyness.
